Rev. Ed Ayers has been an ordained teaching elder in the PC (USA) for 40 years. Ordained by Greater Atlanta Presbytery, Ed has served churches in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
A significant portion of ministry has been spent as an evangelist in developing new churches. In addition to ministry, Ed is an instrumentalist and vocalist, having over 55 years of professional music experience in jazz, blues, rock, swing, dance, big band music, classical, musical comedy and opera. He served in the U.S. Army as a director of the Third U.S. Army Chorus and Drum Major of the Third U.S. Army Band at Ft. McPherson, GA. He has also worked as a professional golfer.

Brendan Mungwena is a Zimbabwe exchange student studying macro economics at Armstrong State University, thanks to the Georgia Rotary Student Program, and was a guest speaker at SIPC on January 28. Brendan received a warm welcome from his American host family, the Eskews – Austin, Kay and Sam.
